Dr. Angel Diaz founded Allegient Defense in 2011 and successfully grew and led it through its merger with BCS in 2024. Today, he serves as BCS Allegient’s Chief Development Officer helping to ensure the business continues its solid revenue, capability and customer growth trajectory. 

Prior to founding Allegient Defense, Dr. Diaz held senior roles at SRC, DARPA and USSOCOM. He is a U.S. Navy veteran and has also served as a Professor of Computer Information Systems at Strayer University. He holds a Doctor of Education degree in Executive Leadership and Human Organization Learning with an integrated study course in cybersecurity from George Washington University; a Master of Science degree in Management Information Systems and a Master of Business Administration from Strayer University; and a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Studies from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
