Ashley Hinson joined WBAL-TV 11 News in July 2018, first as co-anchor of 11 News at 5 p.m. alongside Andre Hepkins and co-anchor of 11 News at 10 p.m. Ashley also covers breaking news and other stories for 11 News at 11 p.m.
Ashley began co-anchoring 11 News at 4 p.m. when it debuted in September 2022.
Ashley previously served as both weeknight anchor and reporter at TV stations in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Lubbock, Texas. She has covered countless breaking stories, including the school shooting in Parkland, Florida, has served as contributor for the Golf Channel, and appeared as a guest on the Steve Harvey Show.
In her free time, Ashley loves giving back to the community. She is involved in numerous organizations like Best Buddies and Special Olympics Maryland.
Ashley's hobbies include skiing, trying new restaurants, and fellowship with friends, family and her church. Ashley graduated from Penn State University in State College, Pennsylvania, and currently lives in Howard County with her two dogs.
